How does Sand mill work? : Firstly, the material is pumped into the milling chamber from the bottom of the mill and then it's processing occurs in the chamber, also the milling chamber is being filled with grinding media of approx. 3mm diameter. Along the length of the chamber, a shaft if fitted which possesses a number of impeller discs which help in the agitation of the media. Also, when the material goes upward due to high hydraulic and shearing forces results in the very fine grinding of the material.
